Position Overview

Part-Time Infectious Disease Physician in Morgantown, WV with National Wound Physician Group

Become an expert in wound management through training from highly qualified wound-certified physicians and Fellowship Directors, utilizing cutting-edge clinical technologies and latest wound care modalities.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states.
• Receive physician-level wound management training and participate in a wound fellowship for clinical excellence.
• Deliver modern wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients daily.
• Perform clinical documentation at the point of care during rounds using proprietary wound-specific EMR.

Requirements

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the practicing state.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 7 am - 4 pm, with part-time options available.
• No call or weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Mobile practice covering a 40-60 mile radius.

Compensation & Benefits

• W2 full-time physicians earn on average $300,000 annually plus benefits.
