Job summary

Optigy Group seeks an Infectious Disease Physician in Fort Myers, FL for a full-time inpatient/outpatient role with a busy, growing practice. The position offers access to on-site labs and diagnostic services within a supportive health system.

Fellowship-trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Infectious Disease candidates are invited to apply. English/Spanish skills are valued but not required. Weekend call is approximately 1:3 in a collaborative, patient-centered setting.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Fellowship in Infectious Disease required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Infectious Disease.
• Interest in practicing general Infectious Disease.
• Interest or experience in mycobacterial infections is beneficial but not required.
• Commitment to collaborative, patient-centered care.
• Interest in medical education and resident teaching is welcomed.
• English/Spanish proficiency is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a mix of inpatient and outpatient Infectious Disease care.
• Participate in resident education and teaching.
• Support weekend call coverage (approximately 1:3).
• Join a busy, growing practice with access to on-site lab and diagnostic services.
