Job description

Infectious Disease Physician Homewood IL (30 miles S of Chicago)

We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Infectious Disease physician to join our group full time in the Homewood, IL area. The incoming Physician will be covering both inpatient and outpatient facilities, providing high quality ID care, typically rounding at 2 hospitals throughout the week with a ½ day clinic days 2 times per week.
For over 10 years, our team of providers have been providing the highest level of infectious disease care to our community and due to our fantastic reputation, we continue to grow. We need a physician who is willing to work both inpatient and outpatient facilities and is comfortable/knowledgeable about providing General ID and HIV care.
Duties:
  • Inpatient and outpatient infectious disease patient care
  • Provide general infectious disease and HIV care
  • Documentation- timely and accurate
  • Assist with advanced practice provider supervision
  • Maintenance of all licensure and certification
Requirements:
  • BCBE Infectious Disease Physician
  • MD/DO licensed to practice in IL
  • Knowledgeable about General ID/HIV care
Schedule:
  • Full time Mon-Friday (rounding at 2 hospitals and half day clinic 2 days a week) with shared weekend coverage
Salary (range):
$250k - $275k + bonus compensation
