Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with board certification or eligibility in Infectious Disease.
• Completion of an Infectious Disease Fellowship program.
• Ohio medical license or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong clinical, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide infectious disease consultations and ongoing care for inpatients and outpatients.
• Diagnose and treat bacterial, viral, fungal, and parasitic infections.
• Manage complex cases including HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, sepsis, and healthcare-associated infections.
• Participate in antimicrobial stewardship programs to optimize antibiotic use.
• Collaborate with hospital epidemiology and infection prevention teams.
• Educate patients, families, and healthcare professionals on infectious diseases and preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
