Job summary

University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC) seeks new faculty for the Division of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Medicine at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank. The successful candidate will contribute to education, patient care and scholarly activities in a thriving academic health system.

We value candidates with strong teaching, clinical research experience and expertise in care of immunocompromised patients, bone and joint infections.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree and ABIM BC/BE in Infectious Diseases required.
• Oklahoma medical license or eligibility for licensure prior to employment.
• Fellowship in Infectious Diseases required or equivalent training.
• Additional experience in immunocompromised hosts, bone/joint infections, or clinical research is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care in ambulatory and inpatient settings.
• Teach medical students, residents and fellows; supervise trainees.
• Engage in departmental scholarly activities and clinical research.
• Participate in education, patient care, and scholarship missions of the College of Medicine.
