RWJBarnabas Health seeks a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Infectious Disease Physician to join our team across Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital New Brunswick and Somerset locations in Central New Jersey. This role spans inpatient and outpatient care within an integrated Rutgers-affiliated system, combining academic medicine with community hospital settings.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited institution with specialty in infectious diseases.
• Completion of an accredited Infectious Diseases fellowship.
• Board certification or eligibility in Infectious Disease.
• Eligible for medical licensure in New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient consultation for infectious diseases at assigned hospitals and clinics.
• Participate in antibiotic stewardship initiatives.
• Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, transplant services, and other specialists in the management of complex infections.
• Engage in academic and teaching opportunities with residents, students, and fellows.
• Contribute to quality improvement programs across the health system.
