Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey, seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible Infectious Disease physician to join our established team. Provide inpatient consults and outpatient clinics, teach Internal Medicine Residents and Medical Students, and participate in antimicrobial stewardship and infection control.

Qualifications

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a dynamic Board Certified/Board Eligible Infectious Disease (ID) physician to join our established team at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. This is a unique opportunity to deliver premier infectious disease care and shape patient outcomes at a leading academic medical center. Our doctors provide vital expertise in diagnosing when treating infections, especially when hard to diagnose, or complicated by multi drug resistance or recurrent. We also provide dedicated screening and care for STI including HIV, AIDS.

Qualifications

• Education: M.D. or D.O. degree, plus successful completion of an accredited Fellowship in Infectious Disease
• Certification: Board Eligible/Board Certified in Infectious Disease
• Licensure: Active Medical License in the State of New Jersey, along with valid DEA and CDS.
• Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with patients, families, and professional personnel. BMT training/experience is a plus.
