Job summary

Virtua Health's Infectious Disease group in suburban Southern New Jersey invites clinicians to join our expanding program, performing outpatient ID services in hospital and office settings with antibiotic infusions for ambulatory patients.

We direct infection control and antibiotic stewardship, HIV and travel medicine programs across a growing 5-hospital system, with teaching opportunities for medical students and residents, a competitive salary, and a supportive ancillary team.

Qualifications

• Experience in Infectious Disease care and outpatient infusion services.
• Ability to work in hospital and office ID settings.
• Interest in teaching medical students and residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient IV antibiotic infusions for ambulatory patients.
• Deliver ID consultations in hospital and office settings.
• Support Infection Control/Antibiotic Stewardship programs.
• Contribute to HIV and Travel Medicine programs.

• We perform 100 % ID services and consultations in both Hospital and Office and provide antibiotic infusions to our ambulatory patients in our two office locations and suites. We direct the Infection Control/Antibiotic Stewardship programs, HIV, and Travel Medicine programs at our thriving, innovative and still growing 5-Hospital Healthcare system, Virtua Health. We support and are integrated with our growing Solid Organ Transplant program --kidney, pancreas, liver, lung and soon to be cardiac
