Infectious Disease Physician - Des Moines, IA

Seeking an Infectious Disease Physician to join our established team in Des Moines, Iowa.

Position Details

1. Join a well-established and reputable team of 8 Infectious Disease physicians and 1 Nurse Practitioner.
2. Office space located in Methodist Plaza, attached to Iowa Methodist Medical Center.
3. Teaching opportunities with local residencies and medical students.
4. Large primary care system providing a built-in referral base.
5. Infectious disease consultation and follow-up at three hospitals within a 10-mile radius.
6. Outpatient infectious disease consultation and follow-up.
7. Participate in a robust antimicrobial stewardship program.
8. Engage in antimicrobial stewardship and E-consultative services at affiliated hospitals/clinics.
9. Collaborative team environment focused on improving community health.

Position Requirements

1. MD or DO, Board Eligible or Board Certified in Infectious Disease.
2. Ability to obtain and maintain an unrestricted Iowa medical license.
3. Active state and federal prescribing authority.
4. Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt).
5. J-1 waiver sponsorship available.
