Job summary

Atlas Search is seeking an HIV Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner for a Bronx-based community health client. The NP will deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care in HIV treatment, prevention, and broader infectious disease management.

The role includes PrEP/PEP delivery, HIV and STI management, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to retain patients in care and achieve viral suppression.

Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner – HIV & Sexual Health

About the Opportunity

Our client, a community-focused health center in the Bronx, is seeking an HIV / Infectious Disease Provider to deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care in HIV treatment, prevention, and broader infectious disease management.

The annual base salary range is $140,000 to $160,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver HIV prevention services, including PrEP and PEP, to at-risk patients
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with HIV and other infectious diseases
• Assess and treat sexually transmitted infections (STIs), viral hepatitis, and TB-related concerns
• Collaborate with primary care, nursing, behavioral health, pharmacy, and social work teams
• Support patient retention in care, treatment adherence, and viral suppression goals
• Partner with community organizations to improve access to timely infectious disease care
• Contribute to a mission of providing high-quality care to medically underserved populations

Job Requirements

• NP Licensed to work in New York
• Comfort managing HIV, STIs, viral hepatitis, and other ambulatory infectious conditions
