Qualifications

• MD or DO Board Certification in Infectious Disease.
• Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Illinois.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in an academic medical center, healthcare system, or similar environment.
• Academic achievements commensurate with appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor level.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight to the Department of Medicine and Division of Infectious Disease.
• Provide clinical leadership and administrative management to advance patient care, education, research, and faculty development.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop outstanding faculty across clinical, educational, and research programs.
• Improve clinical service delivery, patient access, quality outcomes, and patient satisfaction.
• Shape the next generation of physicians through medical education and mentorship.
