Requires a pharmacy degree and Florida pharmacist licensure, with ASHP residency/fellowship or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree required (B.S. in Pharmacy or D.Pharm).
• Licensed pharmacist by the Florida Board of Pharmacy or license within 4 months of hire.
• ASHP-accredited residency or fellowship in a specialty area (2 years) or 1+ year plus specialty experience or 5 years of clinical pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain clinical pharmacy services at the designated practice site.
• Plan, organize, execute, and monitor clinical services to improve patient care while managing resources.
• Coordinate pharmacy department activities to ensure adequate clinical service coverage and patient care.
• Document clinical activities for pharmacy management and accreditation purposes.
• Provide pharmacotherapy and pharmacokinetic consultations with physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Assist with nutritional support consultations with physicians and dietitians.
• Engage in continuous professional development related to clinical practice.
