Job summary

Genesis HealthCare System in Ohio seeks an experienced RN to join the Infectious Disease Clinic. This role plans, provides, and supervises nursing care, coordinates with caregivers, and adheres to infection control policies to ensure patient safety.

Varied shift, 40 hours a week. Must hold an Ohio RN license, CPR within 30 days, and at least one year of acute care experience. Compassion, teamwork and precise communication are essential.

Qualifications

• BSN or ADN and current Ohio RN License.
• CPR certification within 30 days.
• One-year experience in acute care.
• Ability to read, write and explain moderately complex information to other hospital staff.
• Demonstrates competence in age-specific patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care in accordance with physician orders.
• Takes and records measurements or readings.
• Assesses condition and provides treatment for care of patient.
• Administers prescribed medications.
• Provides leadership while working collaboratively with other care givers on the unit.
