Job summary

Reliable Health Care Management, LLC is seeking an Infection Preventionist (LPN or RN) in Rockmart, GA to lead infection prevention and staffing development initiatives for our healthcare team.

You will develop and monitor infection prevention policies, train staff on prevention practices, analyze surveillance data, and collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to promote patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN licensure in Georgia.
• Experience in infection prevention and control in healthcare.
• Knowledge of CDC guidelines, OSHA regulations, and infection control standards.
• Experience or interest in staffing development and training.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data and prepare infection control reports.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor infection prevention policies and procedures in line with regulatory standards.
• Conduct surveillance and data analysis to identify infection trends and recommend actions.
• Provide education and training to staff on infection prevention practices.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to foster safety culture.
• Coordinate staffing development initiatives including orientation and competency assessments.
• Assist in staff scheduling and workforce planning to meet patient care needs.
• Maintain records related to infection control and staff development.
• Participate in quality improvement projects and regulatory surveys.
