CHRISTUS Health is seeking an Infection Preventionist to monitor and implement infection surveillance, prevention and control under leadership. You will facilitate the local infection prevention program, advise management on guidelines, and apply epidemiology to monitor care and investigate potential outbreaks.

The role requires knowledge of High-Reliability Principles, PDSA, and regulatory standards (CDC/State).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Microbiology, Clinical Laboratory Sciences, Epidemiology, Public Health, or other health-related field required.
• Associate degree nurses may also be considered.

Responsabilités

• Must be proficient in computer skills using EXCEL, PowerPoint, MSOffice, and Flowchart tools.
• Must communicate effectively to different audiences.
• Must be knowledgeable on High-Reliability Principles and PDSA methodology.
