The ideal candidate will have expertise in infection prevention, epidemiology, surveillance, and quality improvement, with strong data analysis and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or related healthcare field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Maryland RN license or applicable professional license required.
• CIC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Infection Prevention and Control Program.
• Conduct surveillance, analysis, reporting of healthcare-associated and community infections.
• Establish infection prevention standards and ensure regulatory and policy compliance.
• Coordinate Infection Prevention and Control Committee meetings.
• Provide consultation and education to leadership, staff and providers.
