Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking an Infection Preventionist to lead infection prevention activities, including surveillance, investigations, data analysis, and education across clinical areas. This role serves as the Infection Prevention Officer, supporting patient safety and outcomes.

The position requires a nursing or healthcare-related degree and at least 2 years of nursing/acute care experience, with 3+ years in infection prevention preferred. BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in nursing or healthcare-related field (additional experience may substitute).
• Minimum 2 years’ nursing or acute care experience; 3+ years in infection prevention preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC.
