LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a Registered Nurse to lead infection prevention initiatives across our facilities in Scranton. The role focuses on high‑quality patient care, surveillance of infection trends, and ensuring accreditation readiness by adhering to established standards.

You will develop and revise infection control policies, coordinate rounds, and collaborate with external agencies while reviewing medical records to identify hospital‑acquired infections.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with at least 2 years hospital experience.
• Experience in infection prevention, survey readiness, and epidemiology preferred.
• Strong understanding of infection control principles, surveillance, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Serves as a resource for infection control initiatives, collaborates with community health agencies, and participates in investigations of reportable infections. Maintains expertise in CDC NHSN reporting criteria and conducts medical record reviews to identify hospital-acquired infections. Participates in continuing education and health-related associations to stay current in the field.
