The role includes outbreak investigation, staff training, and ensuring supplies for prevention activities.

Qualified candidates will hold an active RN license in the state of practice and have infection control experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• One year of RN experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred.
• Infection control experience required.
• Infection control certification preferred.
• Professional image in appearance and behavior.

Responsibilities

• Conduct rounds and monitor infection prevention practices with staff.
• Collect infection data from departments and maintain case records.
• Investigate outbreaks and incidents of infections; report to appropriate departments.
• Train staff on infection prevention practices and ensure supplies are available.
