Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking an Infection Prevention Nurse | RN to join our care teams in Belleville, IL. You will lead infection prevention rounds, train staff, and ensure compliance with healthcare-associated infection prevention practices across our campuses.

The ideal candidate is a registered nurse with infection control experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC settings, holds an active RN license, and is ready to act quickly during outbreaks while maintaining thorough documentation and

Qualifications

• Must have active, and in good standing, Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Prior Infection Control experience required.
• One year of prior experience providing specialized treatments in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required.
• Infection Control certification preferred.
• Prior experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct rounds and monitor infection prevention practices with staff.
• Collect infection data from departments and maintain records for each case of healthcare-associated infection.
• Investigate outbreaks and report incidents to the appropriate person/department.
