Clark County Washington is seeking a Public Health Nurse II to join the Infection Prevention and Immunization Program. This role focuses on infection prevention practices, outbreak management, and surveillance of healthcare-associated infections in non-hospital settings, with cross-training to immunization and other communicable disease efforts.

The position is represented by the union, hybrid remote with a Monday–Friday 8-hour schedule, reports to the Program Manager, and requires Washington RN

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with RN licensure in Washington.
• Two years of healthcare infection prevention, epidemiology, or infectious disease surveillance experience.
• Preferred qualifications include CIC or MSN/MPH and strong communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Partner with healthcare leaders and agencies on infection prevention.
• Assist in development of educational resources for various care settings.
• Provide consultation and technical expertise to prevent and control HAIs and MDROs.
• Support antibiotic stewardship initiatives and outbreak investigations.
• Contribute to local/regional preparedness for highly pathogenic infections.
