Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required. In lieu of education, leadership may consider an Associate's degree and 5 years of applicable experience.
• Minimum of two years of experience in clinical, nursing, healthcare safety, process improvement, infection prevention, accreditation or healthcare management setting required.
• Certification in regulatory accreditation, patient safety, quality specialty (Lean Six Sigma or Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) or Infection Prevention and Control (CIC®) equivalent preferred.
• If a licensed registered nurse (RN), currently hold an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with leadership to organize, evaluate, assist, and coordinate planning and implementation of systematic approaches to improving outcomes, ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies, and infection prevention program goals.
• Supports corporate and local strategic plans that achieve high impact and significant improvements in organizational performance by providing oversight to performance improvement, regulatory compliance components and activities, and infection prevention and control.
• Demonstrates problem solving, critical thinking, conflict management, and team building skills to ensure a productive work environment and achievement of goals.
• Writes and communicates clearly; maintains confidentiality; analyzes data to identify opportunities for improvement and supports change from education to sustainability.
