Qualifications

• RN licensure in the State of Missouri.
• Infection Prevention training or certification (or willingness to obtain within required timeframe).
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with problem-solving and action orientation.
• Ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain infection prevention program and surveillance.
• Coordinate orientation schedules and onboarding for newly hired nurses.
• Ensure compliance with CDC, CMS, OSHA, and state health department standards.
• Educate staff on infection prevention, documentation, and safety practices.
• Participate in QAPI meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacy, laboratory, and local health departments.
