Wsnrc is seeking an Infection Prevention Nurse to lead infection prevention and surveillance efforts within our Bloomingdale facility. The role monitors HAIs, reports trends, and educates staff on best practices to protect residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license (RN or LPN) in Illinois.
• Infection prevention certification is preferred.
• Experience with infection surveillance and outbreak control.
• Ability to educate staff on infection prevention.

Responsibilities

• Monitor healthcare-associated infections and data trends.
• Educate and train staff on infection prevention practices.
• Prepare agendas for infection prevention committee meetings.
• Lead outbreak investigations and implement control measures.
• Report infections to state authorities as required.
