Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in management, public health, nursing, or related field.
• CIC-Certification in Infection Control within 2 years.
• 5 years of recent relevant experience.
• Knowledge of microbiology, epidemiology, statistics, infection control practices, and adult education principles.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to interact with diverse healthcare and public health audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert consultation and support to patient care delivery and department operations for infection prevention and control.
• Coordinate hospital-wide infection control program and performance improvement to prevent healthcare-associated infections.
• Plan and coordinate education for hospital personnel on infection prevention practices.
• Develop and translate clinical data into reports and presentations for appropriate audiences.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify issues and implement preventive measures.
