Purdue University Student Health (PUSH) Center seeks an Infection Prevention and Staff Educator to lead infection prevention and control activities, annually evaluate and enhance the infection control plan, and implement reporting systems for communicable diseases and HAIs. The role chairs the Infection Prevention and Control Committee and presents the monthly quality activity reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in Indiana.
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
• Five years of nursing experience with relevant duties.

Responsibilities

• Lead infection prevention and control activities for PUSH Center.
• annually evaluate and enhance the infection control plan.
• Develop, implement and maintain reporting systems for reportable infections.
• Chair the Infection Prevention and Control Committee and present reports.
• Collaborate with PUSH departments to promote safe, patient-centered care.
