Job summary

Rivermere of Orange in Orange, CT is hiring an Infection Prevention Control Training Specialist to join our Nursing leadership team. This part-time role (24 hours per week) requires an LPN license in CT and covers all shifts.

You will train all team members on CDC infection prevention and control, monitor infection control policies, and support quality control initiatives within the community. Pay ranges from $32.00 to $36.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• CDC Infection Control certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in Assisted Living preferred.
• LPN License in CT is required.

Responsibilities

• Train all team members on infection prevention using CDC program.
• Monitor infection control policies within the community.
• Provide quality control and implement training as needed.
• Follow state guidelines on infection control.

Responsibilities

• The Infection Prevention Control Training Specialist is responsible for the training of all team members on infection prevention and control utilizing the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention program.
• Monitors Infection control policies within the community.
• Provides quality control and implements training as needed.
• Follows state guidelines on infection control.

Qualifications

• Must have a CDC Infection Control Prevention Certificate or be able to obtain one in 30 days.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Some experience working in an Assisted Living community preferred.
• LPN License Required.
