Job summary

NHS Western Isles is seeking a self-motivated Administrator to support the Infection Prevention and Control Team (IPCT). The role is a permanent post, 36 hours per week, at Band 3 with a salary of £29,103 to £31,409 per annum plus £1,461 Distant Island Allowance.

You will maintain a comprehensive administrative service to IPCT, ensure smooth day-to-day office operations, and assist the team with any issues that arise.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated Administrator with ability to work independently.
• Must be computer literate and comfortable with Microsoft Office.
• Educated to HNC level or equivalent administrative experience.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a comprehensive administrative service to the IPCT.
• Ensure the day-to-day running of the office is well-maintained.
• Assist the team with any issues that arise and provide admin support.

An opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated Administrator to join the Infection Prevention and Control Team (IPCT), NHS Western Isles.

The main function of this role is to maintain a comprehensive administrative service to the IPCT, ensuring the day-to-day running of the office is well-maintained and assisting the team with any issues that arise.

You will be computer literate, preferably educated to HNC level or with equivalent administrative experience. A good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages would also be an advantage. This is an excellent chance to gain insight, expertise, and skill in the varied and challenging world of Infection, Prevention and Control
