Job summary

Trilogy Health Services in Indiana is seeking a Staff Development and Infection Control Nurse (LPN/RN) to support the DON/ADON by delivering in-service infection control training and ensuring licensed staff maintain active credentials.

The role includes sustaining Infection Control programs, participating in committees, daily rounds, vaccine administration, and occasional patient care support. Requires active LPN/RN license and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, valid LPN or RN license.
• Infection Preventionist certification or willingness to attend certification training.
• Current, valid CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Develop in-service training programs on infection control for licensed staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs, etc.).
• Maintain active Infection Control programs and ensure adherence to procedures.
• Serve on committees and participate in policy, quality, and budget discussions as required.
• Make daily rounds in nursing service departments to ensure standards.
• Complete reviews of fridge temps, crash cart audits, infection control rounding, and HIPAA compliance checks.
• Administer employee vaccinations and maintain accurate records.
• Provide patient care as needed and participate in campus on-call rotation.
