Job summary

WellBridge of Fenton is seeking an Infection Control Coordinator to identify, prevent and manage outbreaks, while aligning care plans with medical standards and state regulations.

The RN must hold Michigan licensure, CPR-BLS, and have 2–3 years in acute or extended care. This full-time role offers a starting salary of $85,000 plus yearly increases and extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree or higher.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Michigan (RN License).
• Current CPR-BLS certification. Minimum 2–3 years in skilled or extended care.

Responsibilities

• Develop and revise infection control policies and procedures.
• Investigate suspected outbreaks of infection.
• Provide consultation on infection risk assessment and control strategies.
• Stay current with federal/state regulations for skilled nursing facilities.

How you will help people every day:

• Develop and revise infection control policies and procedures.
• Investigate suspected outbreaks of infection.

• Keep abreast of trends and developments in the area of extended care facility patient care techniques; follow federal and state skilled nursing facility regulations.

What you will need to be part of ourEPICteam:

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
• License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan (Must have RN License!)
• Current CPR-BLS certification.
• At least 2-3 years of experience as a skilled nurse in an acute care or extended care facility.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care!
