Job summary

The Infection Control Nurse at South Lyon Senior Care Center leads efforts to identify, contain, and prevent outbreaks, while adapting treatment plans to resident needs in line with state and facility guidelines.

You will develop and revise infection control policies, investigate potential outbreaks, and provide guidance on risk assessment and prevention strategies, collaborating with the care team to maintain high-quality, safe resident care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
• Licensed RN in Michigan with current CPR certification.
• 2–3 years of RN experience in an acute or extended care facility.
• Excellent customer service and commitment to compassionate, innovative care.

Responsibilities

• Develop and revise infection control policies and procedures.
• Investigate suspected outbreaks of infection.
• Provide consultation on infection risk assessment, prevention, and control strategies.
• Follow federal and state regulations for skilled nursing facilities.
