Job summary

CFG Health Systems is seeking a Nursing professional to develop, implement, monitor and evaluate the Infection Control Program within a correctional setting in Newark, NJ. You will provide surveillance, identify infections and initiate control measures while collaborating with diverse health care teams.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN or higher, an active NJ RN license, and at least two years of infection control experience, with strong communication and teamwork skills to support patient safety

Qualifications

• BSN or higher degree.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in New Jersey.
• Minimum 2 years of infection control experience (preferred).
• Strong clinical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, monitors and evaluates the Infection Control Program.
• Provides surveillance to identify infections and initiate infection control measures.
• Works with health care professionals and security officers in a correctional environment.
• Participates in CQI and MAC Committees; reports infection data and issues.
• Updates site-specific infection control policies and educational materials.
