Job summary

Vasona Creek Healthcare is seeking an experienced Infection Prevention (IP) Nurse - LVN to join our team. This full-time, benefitted role leads the infection prevention and control program to ensure a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

The IP Nurse will monitor infections per CDC, state and federal guidelines, educate staff, conduct audits, and collaborate with nursing leadership. Active LVN license required; NHSN/CD guidelines knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• Active LVN license in good standing.
• Infection prevention experience in skilled nursing or healthcare.
• Knowledge of CDC guidelines and NHSN reporting.
• Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the facility's Infection Prevention & Control Program.
• Monitor, investigate, track, and report infections per CDC, state, and federal guidelines.
• Educate and train staff on infection prevention policies and best practices.
• Conduct audits, surveillance, and risk assessments; analyze trends and outcomes.

Position Overview

Vasona Creek Healthcare is seeking an experienced and motivated Infection Prevention (IP) Nurse - LVN to join our team. This full-time, benefitted position is responsible for leading and maintaining an effective infection prevention and control program to ensure a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the facility's Infection Prevention & Control Program
• Monitor, investigate, track, and report infections per CDC, state, and federal guidelines
• Educate and train staff on infection prevention policies and best practices
• Conduct audits, surveillance, and risk assessments; analyze trends and outcomes

• Starting at $46/hour, dependent on experience
