Job summary

Complete Care is seeking an Infection Preventionist (LPN) in New Jersey to join a team that treats residents like family. You will collaborate with the Director of Nursing to oversee nursing staff, help implement care plans, and ensure compliance with regulations while maintaining accurate documentation.

The role emphasizes infection prevention, staff mentorship, and participation in quality improvement initiatives within a supportive, respectful workplace.

Qualifications

• LPN license in New Jersey and current.
• Experience in nursing leadership, preferably in long-term care.
• LTC/SNF experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to manage and supervise nursing staff, ensuring compliance with regulations and facility policies.
• Assist in developing and implementing nursing care plans and ensuring they are followed.
• Conduct regular assessments of resident care and ensure documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Monitor and maintain nursing supplies, equipment, and medications.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering a positive work environment.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance efforts.
• Monitor and help prevent infections throughout the facility by following safety guidelines and educating staff on proper infection control practices.
• Track infection trends, complete audits, and work with the nursing team to keep residents and staff safe and healthy.

• Previous LTC/SNF experience preferred
