Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to maintain a clean, sanitary environment for residents, staff, and visitors within a healthcare facility. You will support infection prevention efforts and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and infection control practices.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and facility policies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare, long-term care, or hospitality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces throughout the facility.
• Empty trash and replace liners in resident rooms and common areas.
• Respond to housekeeping requests from nursing staff and residents.
• Maintain housekeeping carts and equipment in a clean and organized condition.
• Assist with terminal cleaning of rooms after resident discharge or transfer.
• Follow infection control procedures and proper use of cleaning chemicals.
• Replenish supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper.
• Follow facility safety policies and proper waste disposal procedures.
