Infection Control Coordinator Registered Nurse (RN) Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Principal Responsibilities:

CLINICAL

1. Ensures resident/patient care meets Federal, State and Company standards.
2. Promotes and maintains infection control guidelines and standards.

ADMINISTRATIVE

1. Coordinates and conducts infection control activities.
2. Provides essential information necessary to maintain infection control standards.
3. Ensures all infection control documentation is maintained according to Federal (CDC) and State requirements and Company infection control standards.

Qualifications:

1. Current nursing license in State where employed.
2. Written and verbal communication skills.
3. Practice in the basic principles of infection control.
4. Knowledge of principles of epidemiology and/or member of APIC preferred.

CONSUMER SERVICE

1. Presents professional image to consumers through dress, behavior and speech.
2. Adheres to Company standards for resolving consumer concerns.
