Job summary

The Astounding Academy LLC in Dunwoody, GA is seeking a warm, reliable Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our team. You will support early childhood development, communicate with families, and collaborate with colleagues to maintain a nurturing classroom.

This role requires flexibility with schedules and classroom ratios; you will implement our curriculum, maintain routines, and ensure safety and cleanliness while fostering a joyful learning environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • CDA in Infant/Toddler or equivalent early childhood education coursework preferred.
  • Experience working with infants and toddlers in a licensed childcare center strongly preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Knowledge of developmental milestones and responsive caregiving practices.
  • Must be dependable, professional, and comfortable working in a team environment.
  • Must be flexible and able to support the needs of the center as required.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.

  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitization, and organization of classroom and materials.
  • Communicate professionally and positively with parents regarding daily activities, progress, and needs.
  • Follow all Georgia Bright from the Start rules and center policies related to supervision, safety, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to ensure consistent routines and quality care.
  • Adapt to schedule or classroom changes when needed to support ratios and center operations.
