Are you eager to make a difference in the lives of young children? Primrose School of Castle Rock is looking for YOU to join our team as an Assistant Teacher!

As an Assistant Teacher, you will create a fun, safe environment with a daily schedule designed to develop children’s confidence and independence. You will help guide infants through toddler age children through small group instruction, supporting their ability to absorb new content and understand increasingly complex information.

All applications will be considered, with virtual interviews scheduled for teachers experienced in early childhood education, preschool, childcare, or daycare centers. Our leadership team looks forward to speaking with you!

School location: 5885 New Abbey Ln, Castle Rock, CO 80108

Benefits:
  • Hourly compensation based on credentials
  • $500 Signing Bonus after 90 days
  • Assistant Teacher: $18.00 to $21.00/hour, depending on experience and credentials
  • Lead Teacher: $21.00-$24.00/hour, depending on experience and credentials
  • Set schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm or 8:30am-5:30pm
  • Closed on weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Paid Time Off (PTO): 80 hours annually
  • Paid Sick Leave: up to 48 hours annually
  • Paid holidays and winter break (week of Christmas)
  • 50% employer contribution for Kaiser Medical Plan
  • Dental & Vision plans
  • 401(k) retirement plan with 100% match up to 4% salary contribution

Qualifications:
  • Assistant Teachers: PDIS 1 required
  • Lead Teachers: PDIS 2, CDA, Associates, or Bachelor's degree required
  • Previous experience in licensed early childhood education, PreK, preschool, childcare, or related fields
  • Knowledge of social, emotional, and creative needs of young children
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. for child safety and program facilitation
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage daily class activities of a group of children
  • Assess each child's developmental needs regularly
  • Implement lesson plans and daily schedule according to the Balanced Learning curriculum
  • Maintain a well-kept classroom environment that encourages exploration and decision-making
  • Follow all health, safety, and regulatory rules and regulations
