We are committed to providing a safe, dynamic, and nurturing environment that will allow every child to develop into a joyful and confident learner prepared for success in school and in life.
The Goddard School located at 1528 Providence Road S Waxhaw, North Carolina has been open for 13 years and has 170 children under our care. We are the premier preschool for children from six weeks to six years old and are looking to add qualified Infant and Toddler Lead teachers to our team! Our talented teachers collaborate with parents to nurture children into respectful, confident, and joyful learners. When you join The Goddard School, you join our School family in making a difference in the lives of our students and in our community.
Salary: Salary range of $15 - $18 per hour (Based on experience)
Work Schedule: 9-hour work day with a 1-hour lunch break
Holidays: Paid Holidays and paid time off (PTO) days, with the school closed for winter break from Christmas Day until New Year's Day
Support: Full support from our directors, including planning/resource time, to be successful in the classroom, and guidance from our Curriculum Coordinator to assist in planning weekly lesson plans
Team Collaboration: Work alongside Co-Lead teachers and classroom resource teachers during the course of the day

Qualifications:
At The Goddard School, our teachers are responsible for coordinating the daily operations of assigned classes. Teachers will plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities for childcare in a safe environment and work directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service.
