DC Army National Guard seeks Infantry Soldiers to take or hold ground during combat operations. You will learn to attack, repel, and capture enemy positions using advanced weapons and tactics while serving part-time and earning a paycheck.

You will train for 14 weeks in Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training (AIT), with tuition assistance and Montgomery GI Bill benefits available. This role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and discipline in diverse missions.

Formación

• Must enlist in Army National Guard.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass a physical exam and meet standards.
• Must meet citizenship requirements per NATIONALGUARD.com.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in reconnaissance operations.
• Employ, fire, and recover anti-personnel and anti-tank mines.
• Operate weapon systems under various conditions, including night vision sights.
• Operate and maintain communications equipment.
• Perform as a member of a fire team during training and combat missions.
• Process prisoners of war and captured documents.
• Aid in the mobilization of vehicles, troops, and weaponry.
• Use, maintain, and store combat weapons (rifles, MGs, etc.).
