Knoxville-Knox County Head Start/Early Head Start seeks an Infant/Toddler Teacher Assistant to support the lead teacher in creating a safe, nurturing learning environment. You will help plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional growth, while addressing each child’s individual needs.

Qualificações

• High School or Equivalent required.
• College degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or Child and Family Studies or Infant/Toddler CDA.
• Experience providing professional childcare to infants/toddlers.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass background checks.
• Health, vision, life, and retirement benefits are offered.

Responsabilidades

• Support the lead teacher in maintaining a safe, healthy learning environment.
• Assist in implementing developmentally appropriate activities for infants/toddlers.
• Support parent involvement and attendance efforts.
• Provide transportation for children and families as needed.
• Collaborate with the Head Start team to ensure policy compliance.
