Join us as an Infant-Toddler Teacher in a Reggio-Inspired Children's School / Childcare at Acquire4Hire.

Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate early childhood educator to join our team at The Treehouse Children's School, a creative and welcoming Reggio-inspired community. Our focus is on respecting the richness of childhood and fostering children's natural drive to explore and express through their 'hundred languages.'

Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement engaging 'provocations' based on children's interests and your passions.
  2. Collaborate with music and art teachers, as well as our Reggio Coach, to provide creative experiences.
  3. Reflect with colleagues on children's learning to plan next steps and document these experiences for parents and the community.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience working with infants, toddlers, or young children.
  • Passion for early childhood education and development.
  • Preferably a college degree and at least one year of teaching experience.
  • Familiarity with NAEYC standards, VT Early Learning standards, and Reggio Emilia philosophy is a plus, or enthusiasm to learn these approaches.
