A leading organization in early childhood education is seeking a full-time Teacher to implement the Head Start educational program. The role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to prepare preschool children for kindergarten. Starting Wage: $14.84 - $21.23 hourly, based on education. A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required. CORS offers educational advancement opportunities for motivated individuals, with wages increasing to $22.24-$26.08 hourly for those with an Associate's Degree or higher.
Position: Teacher - Full Time/Full-Year
This role involves collaborating with the Early Childhood Service Coordinator, Head Teacher, Family Advocate, and families to plan and implement the Head Start educational program for preschool children, preparing them for kindergarten and beyond. Education and Training: High school diploma or GED with a CDA or equivalent; or enrollment in a CORS-approved and paid Child Development (CDA) program with completion within two years. An Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
Physical & Other Conditions: Ability to lift 40 pounds, stoop, bend, and reach. Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history. The role involves organizing, problem-solving, record-keeping, and time management.
