Job summary

Joyful Learning Educational Development Center in San Jose, CA is seeking a caring Early Education Teacher to provide high-quality care and instruction in a safe, nurturing classroom. The role supports children's development through age-appropriate activities and positive interactions.

The ideal candidate has at least 12 ECE units or a valid CTC permit, preschool experience, and a professional, team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 ECE units or valid CTC permit.
• Preschool or childcare experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

• Plan and lead developmentally appropriate activities and lessons
• Support children’s social-emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom
• Use positive behavior guidance and active supervision
• Complete lesson plans, observations, and required documentation
• Communicate professionally with families and staff
• Follow Title 22, Title 5, health, and safety regulations
• Participate in trainings, meetings, and safety drills
