Job summary

Celebree School of North Potomac is seeking an Infant/Toddler Teacher to shape early development in a nurturing, enriching environment. You will weave Celebree's vision and values into daily activities and provide developmentally appropriate experiences for infants and toddlers.

You will mentor classroom Aides and contribute to continuous learning and professional growth within a supportive leadership team.

Qualifications

• Lead teacher eligibility approved by the state agency.
• Strong knowledge of child development and licensing requirements.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Navigate daily activities with infants, offering gentle guidance and support as they take first steps.
• Manage the infant classroom ensuring compliance with Office of Child Care regulations, company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Provide a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for all children, parents, and visitors.
• Create and implement thorough, timely lesson plans that are age-appropriate and stimulating in line with Celebree’s infant curriculum.
• Ensure the classroom is a safe, clean, and inviting space where curiosity can flourish.
• Accurately complete all paperwork, electronic reports, supervision records, and attendance tracking

As an Infant/Toddler Teacher, you will be given the tools, resources, and training to:

Qualifications

• Must meet the requirements to be a lead teacher as approved by the governing State agency.
• This position requires comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the behavioral and developmental stages of children and knowledge of childcare licensing requirements
• The ability to manage a classroom, including strong organizational, communication (verbal and written), and problem-solving skills. patience, flexibility.
