Job summary

ChildCareGroup seeks an Infant/Toddler Teacher to support healthy development, safety, and early learning for our youngest children. You will create warm, responsive environments and deliver high-quality programming aligned with Early Head Start standards, NAEYC criteria, and licensing regulations.

You will collaborate with classroom teams, lead activities, and maintain documentation while fostering relationships with children and families.

Qualifications

• CDA credential or Associate’s Degree in child development or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience with young children.
• Knowledge of early childhood development and infant/toddler needs.
• Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills; team-oriented.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well with staff, families, and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, organized, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities aligned with RC3; prepare curriculum and assess children.
• Build positive, nurturing relationships with children and families; participate in meetings.
• Collaborate with classroom teams; support daily routines and cover for Lead Teacher when needed.
• Maintain required documentation and learn CCG’s data systems (training provided).

What You’ll Do

• Maintain a safe, organized, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment, including daily setup and support of learning centers.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities aligned with RC3, including curriculum preparation and child assessments.
• Build positive, nurturing relationships with children and families, participating in meetings and conferences.
• Collaborate with classroom teams, supporting daily routines and stepping in for the Lead Teacher when needed.
• Maintain required documentation and acquire proficiency in CCG’s designated data systems (training provided).

What You Bring

• Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or Associate’s Degree in child development or a related field.
• One year of experience working with young children.
• Knowledge of early childhood development and a strong desire to work with infants and toddlers.
• Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and volunteers.
• Reliable, punctual attendance and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
