Job summary

RFK Community Alliance is seeking an Infant/Toddler Teacher in Lancaster, MA for our Child Development Center. This role focuses on enriching environments to promote language, social, and cognitive growth. A 40-hour week with 8-hour shifts, 7:30AM–5:30PM availability is required.

Minimum High School Diploma or GED; associate degree in Early Childhood Education preferred, and EEC Infant/Toddler certification preferred. At least 1 year of relevant experience and age 18+ are required.

Qualifications

• Required diploma or GED for eligibility.
• Associate degree preferred in Early Childhood Education.
• Certification for Infants/Toddlers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and guidance to support development.
• Provide daily care, education, and recreation for children.

Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our Child Development Center and Education team in Lancaster, MA.

Pay Range: $18-$22

Shift: 40 hours a week; 8-hour shift, Monday - Friday (will be 8AM - 4PM initially, must be available between the hours of 7:30AM and 5:30PM)

Who We Seek:

The Infant/Toddler Teacher will work in our Child Development Center, providing an enriched and engaging environment for young children that encourage their imagination, challenges their thinking skills, and enhances their social and language development. The Educator will provide instruction and guidance to students to assist their academic, social, and emotional development. Providing daily care, education, and recreation for children, including the daily operations of the classroom.

Who You Are

You are an energetic, caring team player who loves nurturing children to help them learn and grow. Specific qualifications include:

• High School Diploma or GED Required; however, an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred (additional preference with course work in regular or special education)
• EEC Teacher certified for Infants/Toddlers and, preferred
• At least one (1) year of experience working in a residential day or educational setting with children.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
