We are hiring a full-time Infant Toddler Lead Teacher for the Addison Children's Center.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure timely completion of monthly targets.
- Support team planning and collaborate with staff and site partners.
- Participate in CLASS implementation and monitoring.
- Guide children’s activities, ensure proper guidance, ratios, and supervision.
- Attend trainings, set professional goals, and track development in Gateways.
- Use Teaching Strategies Gold for documentation and maintain interrater reliability.
- Implement the Planned Language Approach for dual language learners.
- Communicate with families via newsletters and conferences.
- Conduct home visits and develop educational goals with parents.
- Maintain accurate files and follow safety procedures.
- Complete CACFP documents and build relationships with families and staff.
- Support observation and documentation of children’s portfolios.
- Work with diverse populations and exchange information on children with disabilities.
- Ensure weekly lesson plans include individualization and accommodations.
- Use the playground safely and supervise children actively.
- Provide site management in the absence of the supervisor and serve as agency representative during DCFS visits.
- Utilize agency technology appropriately and adhere to policies.
- Contribute to program recruitment and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Certifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from an accredited institution.
- Gateways IT Level 5 Credential.
Travel Requirements
- Driving required; travel between sites with personal vehicle.

- Engage families and work effectively in teams.
- Excellent communication skills and adaptability to a complex environment.
- Reliable transportation and flexible schedule availability.
- Satisfactory health, background check, and fingerprint clearance.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Physical Requirements
- Sit, stand, talk, hear, and use hands frequently; lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
