Qualifications

• CDA credential with infant/toddler focus or equivalent.
• Infant/toddler development coursework.
• Experience with infants and toddlers in childcare.
• Ability to pass required background checks and pre-employment screenings.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain within designated timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities for infants and toddlers.
• Create a warm, safe classroom environment that promotes learning through exploration and play.
• Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development.
• Conduct ongoing observations to monitor progress and adjust instruction.
• Maintain active supervision of children at all times.
• Develop positive relationships with families and conduct conferences and home visits.
• Ensure compliance with Head Start Standards and licensing requirements.
• Maintain accurate attendance and development records and required reports.
