Job summary

Kenaitze Indian Tribe is seeking an Infant Toddler Teacher for the Early Learning program. The role involves promoting growth and development for up to 8 children, maintaining ongoing contact with families, and coordinating with health, nutrition, and family services to integrate educational goals into family settings.

The position requires collaboration with coordinators and staff to ensure high-quality services and adherence to Head Start standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and utilizes lesson plans reflecting mandated elements and parental/cultural influences.
• Writes comprehensive individual plans to promote learning and social/health needs.
• Coordinates with parents to ensure health screenings and immunizations are completed.
• Conducts home visits and participates in family partnerships and IFSP planning.
• Ensures compliance with tribal, federal, state and local employment laws and Head Start standards.
